AC Screens & Shutters was established in 1997 and pioneered the introduction of advanced composite solar textile screens into South Africa, as well as being one of the first to manufacture insulated aluminium roller shutters.

AC Screens & Shutters manufactures a wide range of top quality European mechanisms for the application of advanced solar control textiles, as well as traditional canvas:

• Patio folding arm awnings
• Fall arm and sliding arm awnings
• Fixed panel screens

Aluminium roller shutters provide a number of excellent features and are available in either roll-formed foam-injected slats for good strength and light weight, or in extruded aluminium for extra strength and security.  Roller shutters can be added onto existing buildings in a neat cassette or designed to be built into new or renovated buildings.

AC Screens & Shutters provides numerous motorisation, automation and control options and are accredited by Somfy South Africa as Somfy Expert® installers, thereby assuring clients of the highest level of technical know-how, product support and factory warranty.  We supply the Somfy Glydea range of motorised curtain tracks that are available in classic or ripple (wave) runners.
